CommentLuv Premium is in the house… #2: Is it in your house?
Today, however, is the official launch of CommentLuv Premium for those who weren’t fortunate enough to bag an early bird copy. I’ve had CommentLuv Premium installed for some time now and definitely rate it highly. My comments have hugely increased but more than that it’s increased my opportunity to engage with people, not just by actually allowing me to see their profiles and discover their blogs.

Recently someone appeared on my blog for an interview and afterwards emailed me to say ‘How long did it take you to build your blog? I wouldn’t know where to start making something like that’. Well, thank you to them both for appearing and for the lovely comment. The answer was a couple of hours but based on two years of learning. Over those two years there are some plugins I’ve come to know and love and my first step on any new blog is installing them. Here’s the list, including a couple of recent – but fabulous – additions.

I like Reddit – or at least I used to – but I can’t help but wonder if it’s becoming a downvoter’s paradise and if it’s time to ditch that up/down scheme in favour of a more positive ‘like it or move on’ approach. Why? Because any down vote option seems to bring out the very worst in people.
