A short while ago I reviewed Doodling on the blog, so imagine how excited I was to see it had made it through to the semi-final of the Goodreads Choice awards. I had voted for it when the poll opened, just as I had voted for other books I loved this year (Before I Go to Sleep, Fezariu’s Epiphany, The Toonopolis Files: Gemini) but let’s face it, books are big business and it’s a tough world out there.
